To fulfil Mahatma Gandhi's vision of Clean India, a massive mass movement, the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' was initiated. Swachh Survekshan 2018 scrutinizes the cleanliness of cities in India depending on various aspects, evaluating the mission progress.
Surat Municipal Corporation seeks active support of its citizens to make Surat the cleanest city in “Swachh Survekshan 2018.”
I take this pledge that I will remain committed towards cleanliness of Surat city.
- I will dump waste in the door-to-door waste collection vehicles.
- I will not throw waste on roads or streets and not let others do it.
- I will keep my home, my courtyard, my organization/office clean.
- I will not spit on roads.
- I will endeavour to support and help to keep Surat city clean and healthy.
